This homemade costume for families entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Viviana, the 'Day of the Dead Family' costume creator:
Im an artist and any opportunity I get to paint I take it. So decided to make a play on day of the Dead. My husband had a beard so had to be creative and tried to make a cow skull out of it. Then my boy who wanted to be a cowboy, also wanted to be terminator (that was his idea of a skull) so he ended up having half of his face melting into his metal skull. Lots of flowers and colors is the key to the Day of the Dead. Also, we made the bandolier bullet belts with duck tape and bullet shells.
