This homemade costume for boys entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Shannon, the 'Davy Jones from The Pirates of the Carribean' costume creator:
My son, Gauge is wearing the costume. We love pirates & he wanted to be a scary pirate. The jacket was made from burlap material & we tried to make it look scaly by adding a 2nd scrunched up material all over it. His beard & tentacle finger glove was made from soft material that naturally coiled up once it was cut into long triangle shapes. His boots are rain boots that we just added fabric to. The red is supposed to represent a peg leg. One of our favorite costumes so far!😍
