This homemade costume for families entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Mindy, the 'Family of Scary Ghosts' costume creator:
Most of the items for these costumes were purchased at a local antique mall. Baby is wearing an antique baby dress, antique baby slip, antique christening robe, and antique baby shoes. Mom is wearing a vintage 1050's nightgown and robe. Dad is wearing brown wool thrift store pants with a ripped hem and painted with textile paint for a splotchy look, an H&M tuxedo shirt, and a black skinny tie. For baby, we used all natural makeup safe for babies found on www.terrafirmacosmetics.com. My husband and I used regular white Halloween face paint, mixed with a little cheap light colored foundation, black cream eyeshadow, and some green concealer.
