Clippy Costume

I needed a "work appropriate" costume and Clippy was born! Clippy began with a wire coat hanger that I made into a paper clip shape. I found a slightly flexible hollow tube (1.5 inches in diameter) that I pulled over the wire coat hanger. I next took the tube (that now had the shape of a paper clip) and wrapped it in aluminum foil. For the eyes, I used sun glasses that were fastened to the "paper clip" with sliver pipe cleaners. I purchased white, black, and sliver foam paper for the eyes and eye brows. I received many compliments! Some people figured out who I was right away and others had an "ah ha" moment after I told them. Brings back memories of that little annoying paper clip that popped up every time you tried to write a paper! People had fun checking the "do not show me this again" box.
