Carton of Organic 2% Milk Costume

The idea of being a proportionately life-size scaled and accurately depicted mundane object is funny to me. Rather than being a monster, superhero or any of the other traditional Halloween characters, dressing up as something you find in your kitchen refrigerator is much more fun and also quite challenging to do right.
I designed everything in Illustrator and meticulously formatted the nutritional facts to be as accurate as possible, taking into account how much milk could fit in a carton this size (Serving Size 2,292 Cups). I then printed on a large format printer and constructed the carton with foam board and structured the inside with aluminum angles and nail glue. I then used a spray adhesive to adhere the prints.
The missing person on the side is a colleague (who's well, not missing and loves what I did) from work that everybody knows, so adding that and joining our company costume contest gave it that extra element of humor.
