This homemade costume for babies entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kathryn, the 'Sweet Brown Owl' costume creator:
This is my son, Tennessee James. I made this using felt. I pieced together a cape made of felt, and sewed layers of felt that I had cut into feather shapes in no particular order. I then cut out two horned owl face shapes, sewed them inside out, and made a hat. I sewed on eyes, and a beak. Every thing was made out of felt.
He was the cutest owl ever!This was really cheap to make, and every one was wowed.
