This homemade costume for kids entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Virginia, the 'Bookworm' costume creator:
My 4th grade daughter is wearing the costume. She suggested being her favorite book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, for Halloween. I suggested she could take it a step further by being a bookworm coming out of the book. We used cardboard, acrylic paint and Sharpie markers to make the cover. She is wearing a green body suit with cheap plastic sunglasses that we removed the lenses from and a headband with green “antennae”.
