This homemade costume for men entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kevin, the 'Boba Fett' costume creator:
Hello everyone,
This is my homemade Boba Fett costume. I wanted to enter it into this costume contest because many of the components were made by myself.
This version of Boba Fett is from the film "The Empire Strikes Back"
The components that I made were made mostly of PVC plastic, EVA foam, leather material, twine rope, and paint.
This is a list of everything homemade for the costume:
EE-3 blaster rifle
Girth belt (dark red belt)
Left and right gauntlets
Cape
Knee armor with darts
Boots
The idea for this costume was because of my love of Star Wars and the Boba Fett character, so I challenged myself to make him after an initial upper body armor set purchase online.
During the start of the 2020 CV-19 pandemic I started to work on the costume to keep busy lol
Overall, I have made this costume and several others over the last few months.
