Beardie from the Deep Costume

This is my adorable, 3-year-old bearded dragon, Kermit, dressed up as a jellyfish for Halloween. I got the idea when I was giving Kermit a bath by the way he floats through the water with grace, and by the way he looks like he could pass as a cute, little bearded jellyfish, if he had to.

To make the jellyfish costume, I bought some white and pink yarn that had a "tentacle" texture to it (I believe it is generally used to make baby blankets) and some regular gift-wrapping ribbon. I glued the yarn and ribbon to the inside of a plastic Christmas ornament that came apart at the center. I then added two over-sized eyes on the front of the face. I laid a piece of white felt on his back to create a stable way for the head of the jellyfish to stay up.
