Batman and Robin Couple Costume

My boyfriend Jacob and I do couples costumes every year. This year we wanted to be superheros because he loves batman! He bought his coustume this year but I made every part of mine. I started off by making a tutu, since they are in style this season. I bought 8 yards of tool fabric and some ribbon which cost me about $8 then I got a cheap red shirt from walmart for $3 and 2 felt squares that were 23 cents each. I had some extra gold fabric laying around from last years toga party and made my utility belt. I used a robin logo online for reference and cut out the logo from the felt squares and pinned them onto my shirt and belt. I also cut out the mask from felt and found some string to hold it on to my face. My whole costume took me about 2 days to make and around $12 so I am extremely proud of it and got many complements!
