Bastion Costume

My 10yr old son Oscar is wearing this costume. It is based off a video game character from "Overwatch".

I used flat Eva foam pads, cut and shaped and glued together using Barge contact cement. Once done I sprayed all parts with plastidip as a base coat/sealant then painted the camo with acrylics and added a metallic effect to the black parts using 'rub & buff'.

(I added the red glow in the outdoor shots because we forgot to turn on the helmet. You can see it functional in the classroom video by following that link. He's also got a voice activated light on his chest that's connected to a microphone on his helmet)
