Baby Lion Costume

Our little girl is 4 months old and she was dressed as a lion. I knew I wanted her to wear a tutu, and I looked online and couldn't find anything I loved; so decided to make her costume. I ordered tulle for the tutu, headpiece, and ankle bands. I simply tied the tulle around elastic that I measured to fit her. For the headpiece, I tied tulle to a crochet headband. Then I added ears to the headband and a tail to the tutu. I attached a bow to the headpiece and the tail. I bought an iron-on lion that I put on a onsie and a sequin bow that I sewed onto the onsie. Considering she has been wearing a bow since day 1, she had no problems wearing the headpiece and she loved playing with the tutu..and tail.
