Animal Muppet Costume

My 9 yr. old grandson asked if we could together make an Animal Muppet costume. He was the designer and critic. We bought the fabric together and he learned to sew by sewing the hair and the pants. We made a paper mache head and covered it with orange fleece and yarn strips, eyes and nose were made from plastic ornaments. Pants were made out of faux leather and a top out of 2 t-shirts and sequin trim. Together we spent many hours making and dreaming about this costume beginning in June of 2013. We made the teeth out of bake clay. We had so much fun!!
