Angel Costume

My 10 year old asked to be a “fancy angel with real feather wings and a sparkly gold halo”. She also likes everything hand made because “everyone can have store bought, I like to be unique!” I found the pattern for her dress from a pdf sewing pattern company called Create Kids Couture. It did take a couple days to make. The wings are made with a foam sheet and wire along the edges, and then feathers glued on one at a time. (Order more feathers than you think, I ran out and had to place a second order). The halo is gold sequin stickers cut into strips and glued around wire.
