Amethyst Costume

This is my own character from Godzilla’s species. Amethyst is a mutated creature from the Gojira species. She was badly injured by MUTOs as an adolescent and burrowed deep within the earth to absorb radiation and regenerate. Her back spines were entirely blown and grew back defirmed, along with many of her features. She has amethyst crystals which have grown all over her, especially in her middle row of spines. From being deep within the earth, her body temperatures have adapted to the heat and her innards appear as magma. She was mistaken as an amethyst mining cave for many years until Monarch found her. Her growth was stunted so she remains undersized for the species. In my design, you can probably see a little of just about every Godzilla creature in her, and some inspiration from other kaiju as well. I am pretty happy with the design (considering my limited space - had to make in a tiny dorm room, lol ; limited time - full load of classes, etc.; limited resources, and limited funds), but still plan to add lights on the spikes, and sound once my college classes slow down a bit. (I am a Freshman at Kennesaw State University in GA and plan to go into Digital Animation). The costume primarily consists of thick foam and a liquid vinyl painted over the top.
