This homemade costume for couples entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.

Goodwill! Used a basic waitress white apron & added Cheshire Cat patch from Amazon, charms from an old Alice in Wonderland bracelet, several decks of cards, black tic-rac, ribbons. Hatter wearing blazer from Goodwill w/added material from old dresses they had outgrown (glued it to cuffs&buttons). Random art bin trimmings(glued on),old socks, old shoelaces threaded into shoes from Goodwill, old chain link belt that I strung bobbins of thread to w/grosgrain & then added ribbons to the end to tie together. Travel sewing kit for hat decor, thimble & pin cushion ring. Orange hair spray.
