Adult Coloring Book and Crayon Costume

Here is my handmade costumes for Halloween 2015! My husband and I are wearing an adult coloring book and red crayon couple costume. The idea came from the trend that is sweeping the nation. We thought that this would be unique and fun. To make my book I used a large sturdy moving box and tag boards. I used a real coloring book design and added it to the front as well as the back. I used felt to make the binding and poster board to make the "pages" on the other side. My husbands costume is made with felt and a party hat covered in felt to make his crayon tip. We spent about two weeks on these costumes. The cost of both costumes for the supplies was about 75 dollars total including our makeup and my wig and tights. We wore them to a costume party and everyone couldn't stop taking our photos.
