Achmed Costume

Achmed is Jeff Dunham's puppet. It is entirely homemade and life size. The head was made out of paper mache by molding newspaper and using glue. This took many days and layers to get the features correct. There are lights behind the eyes; a speaker inside the head to repeat Achmed's famous lines for others to hear; eye brows and mouth can be manipulated inside the head to go up and down. The head rests on my shoulders with ropes to keep it stable. The skeleton body is a home made body suit with the bones painted on.
