2020 In A Nutshell Costume

The idea came to me while driving to work one day. I made the nut out of pool noodles, spray foam insulation, and paper mache. I carved off the excess foam to smooth it out and give it some texture. After painting it, I cut off a skirt and hot-glued it to the inside of the nut to hold it up. The Covid-19 earrings were made by painting small bouncy balls gray and inserting bristles from a hairbrush that I painted red. For the twilight zone mask, I cut out a template and then spray painted over it onto the mask to get the lines. The labels had the top news stories of the year so far.
