A word from Ida, the '2020 Essentials' costume creator:

The Toilet Paper for my 7-year-old boy is light weight and easy to make.

How to:
1. Cut two foam boards into big circle, then cut a smaller circle in the center for the body and head.
2. Cover one side of the board with thin foam sheet (36"x60") then fold in the excess sheet and glue. Repeat this step for the other board.
3. Use construction paper for logo.
4. Wrap with clear plastic sheet.
5. Attach straps.
Cost: $15

The Hand Sanitizer for my 9-year-old was a fun project we did together. She helped me with bubbles and logo.

How to (Body):
1. Use plastic corrugated sheets to make the body.
2. Cut & attach bubbles printouts.
3. Use construction paper for logo.
4. Attach straps.
How to (Head piece):
1. Measure head and use cardboard to make a cylinder shape*, then attach a piece of round shaped foam board to one of the ends of cylinder.
3. Attach a plastic to-go container on top then glue a shortened paper towel roll* on.
4. Use foam board, cut two spout shaped pieces, then cut a long strip of foam sheet and curve it around the edge of one of the spout pieces, glue as you go. Glue the second piece on top.
5. Attach spout to paper towel roll.
*wrapped with white foam sheets.
Cost: $0. All materials are leftover from Toilet Paper costume and recyclables.
