A word from Kathleen, the 'Wyoming Born & Bread' costume creator:
Last spring, I was "adopted" by a little boy whose parents have a business next door to my home. His name is Braydon Marchetti, and he is the light of my life. He was the inspiration for the costume, and "cowboyed up" through the 70 degree Lander Main Street Trick or Treat where I occasionally took his hat off to fan him with while we made our way up and down several blocks of crowds (10 degrees cooler would. have perfect :) !! I found the hat at a garage sale for $5...the bread was created from a foam rubber cushion I had that was shaped with an electric knife, hollowed out, and painted. We found the moustache at the Dollar Tree for a dollar, the shirt at a second hand store, the boots were a gift from me ( doesn't every little boy deserve a pair??) and the Wyoming bucking horse and lettering stencils for the sign-$5...all in all the costume cost around $75, and he will be enjoying the boots for many months to come (the most expensive part). The best part was the smiles and "great costume" comments he received durring the T or T event :) Please bear with me as I am technologically challenged and working with satellite service because of living in a remote area so am worried about the photos arriving with the entry form. Thanks, Kathleen
