This homemade costume for pets entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Lori, the 'Wonder Woman' costume creator:
I thought it would be cute to make a Wonder Woman outfit for my cat Nuggy. She does not mind getting dressed up.
CAPE....the cape I bought WW material shaped it almost triangled, Stitched the edges & added a gold rope with a snap for easy on/off.
CROWN....I uses a gold thick elastic, cut it to shape added a red star on front & sewed thin elastic so it will stay on her head.
DRESS.....I used a stretch fabric for her top of dress & added gold sparkled elastic trim around neck & arms. I sewed a chiffon white with sparkles for bottom of dress.
SKIRT......I used a stretch shiny blue material w/stars on it & put snaps on the belly area, so it could be attached to the dress.
LASSO of truth.....I used a gold rope trim & hot glued it to a pc of material sewed a snap on so I could snap it onto the side of skirt.
