This homemade costume for pets entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Cathy, the 'Wizard of Oz Dogs' costume creator:
These are our shelties Focus, Echo, Zira and Chablis (from left to right).
We thought we would do a Wizard of Oz theme for halloween this year (because we love that movie :)), so the dogs are dressed as the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Dorothy and Cowardly Lion!
We created and sewed the costumes ourselves all from scratch, except the Cowardly Lion costume which started as a store bought lion costume that we enhanced by adding on more lion mane, and a red bow because Cowardly Lion has a red bow!
The dogs were excellent sports!!
