A word from Deborah, the 'Wizard of Oz' costume creator:
Our costume was inspired by our 3 year old daughter's love for Wizard of
Oz. Her Dorothy costume was made by her grandmother, which has been our tradition for the past 3 years. The scarecrow was made from clothes found at Goodwill. We sewed some patches and cut holes where we stuffed with hay. The tin man was the most involved. We took an old jumpsuit and cleaning gloves and sprayed with silver paint. The body is a circular laundry basket wrapped in aluminum foil. The hat is a funnel also sprayed with silver paint. We had a blast making and wearing these costumes. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
