This homemade costume for women entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Mandy, the 'Winnie Sanderson' costume creator:

Winnie Sanderson, one of the Sanderson Sisters from the movie Hocus Pocus, is my costume. I made the jacket from a pattern, and stencilEd on the gold designs. The "Boooook" is an old cookbook that I pasted tissue paper to, and used baked clay for the designs, painting all (even the eyeball). Broom was made with a tree branch and bristles from an old broom, all stained. As crazy as it is, that is my real hair with some color added :) I spent about $75 on the overall costume. A group of us were the Sanderson Sisters, and had a great time, I'm just not sure how they feel about me entering us into a contest BUT Winnie is in charge!

Where can I find the pattern for dress and cloak. I've looked everywhere.

Please what pattern did you use for the coat.

Sorry. Took me a bit to find the pattern. I altered a McCalls M6818-D50 #C Didn't attach the front lapel, and extended the bottom of the waistline so the front seem continued rather than cutting back at the waist.
