A word from Christine, the 'Wicked Witch' costume creator:

Hello,
I made this creation on myself. I have a obsession with witches!! The nose on my character was argunally shorter. I used liquid latex to add the length. The chin was actually a nose, I just turned it upside down to create the process of looking like a witch. I made my ears longer by using latex as well. I wanted my character to look older,by doing this, I put on a bald cap and blended the edges. The hair on the witch is from a wig. I cut some of the hair off and glued it to the cap. To form the wrinkles on my character, I unrolled cottenballs and places them they way wrinkles would look and covered it with the latex to give her skin texture. I found a pack of plastic fingers and placed tissue paper over the characters fingers hands and arms and covering everything with latex,to create this look. I used a old flannel for the bottom half of her dress and glued it to another older dress and added a patch. I hand painted everything using my color pallet. Shaded areas to bring out the facial detail of my character. This work took me about 6hrs to complete. I had a lot of fun creating this character!
