A word from Abby, the 'Wacky Wavy Arm Flailing Inflatable Tube Man' costume creator:

These Costumes were inspired by the "airdancers" that wave in the wind at events and used car lots. Worn by Chasen Brunner, Abby Carlson, Janae Boyles, Greg Ornella, And Devin Sudman as Wacky wavy arm flailing inflatable tube men! (Not pictured: Alli Bradley, Drew Gunderson, and Drew Doherty). These were constructed from pop-up laundry hampers, plastic tablecloths, felt for the eyes, and held together with hot glue.

Hi, this is an awesome idea. My friends would like to make these this year., but we are having a hard time finding the pop up hampers. Where did you get the hampers? How many did you use per costume? What were the dimensions? Price?

Thank you for your help! And for sharing your idea!! :)

I found cheap hampers at our local dollar store. Depending on your height you might need 2-3.. open one and see how tall it would be next to you.

What kind of material did you use for this? It looks think like a plastic pancho.
