Voodoo Doll and Witch Doctor Costume

I despised I wanted to be a voodooo doll this year, but I didn’t want to do the cute version so I decided to go creepy this year. I used in the making of this costume burlap material for dress. I stitched it with twine and black thread. And put pins on it to make me look like I was stuck with pins.

Toliet paper and latex for the prosthetics I had made. After drying I used costume paint to make them look bloody and flesh tone. I used latex to put the prosthetics on my face neck and arms

For the stick pins I took wooden skewers and spray painted them a matalic silver and used smooth styrofoam ball for top of the pins and painted them different colors.

For his costume I found a top hat and hot glued skulles and little bones on it with some feathers and added some costume paint to make it look more creepy.

We just used a vest black shirt and slacks for is clothing. We sowed a price of animal print fabric on back to give it some difference. Didn’t really now how to do skull make up but tried best.

The staff was made from bamboo stick, twine feathers and an old plastic skull we had.

I’m not really sure how much our costumes cost there was a lot of things I already had at the house because I like to make things.
