Volcano Costume

My 6 year old son loves volcanos and wanted to be one for Halloween. This costume is completely homemade equipped with red LED light strips and a smoking hat.
How to make it:
The base of the volcano is a hula hoop, I attached cardboard to the hula hoop and brought it together and held it with duct tape. There is probably some mathematical formula to use and I was kicking myself for not paying more attention in high school math class, but I just eye balled it. I poked holes out for the arms. Painted it and attached LED light strips and connected them to 9volt batteries inside. Next I made the volcano hat out of cardboard and Created an inner removable hat lined with tin foil. Inside I used dhoop sticks (prayer sticks) to create the smoke. (These are ideas I found online from different sources and put them together).
