A word from Hannah, the 'Viking Warrior' costume creator:

Hey y’all, I’m Hannah. I’m the one in the full blown savage character. I’ve always been a tomboy in nature and ironically I’m about to compete in my very first beauty pageant in November. I don’t do super skimpy/revealing outfits but I do like to amp up the sexy a bit for Halloween but all the while maintaining a little mystery/intimidation... plus, I needed one last “savage” moment prior to getting sleep and sophisticated in preparation to walk the runway in this pageant. I chose to be a Viking Warrior because (A) it’s not a far stretch from my own personality... half cute/half savage and (B) One of my favorite personal quotes “keep her cute but train her to kill.” The majority of my wardrobe pieces came from Goodwill! I’m kind of like creativity on CAFFEINE. I love having a vision and piecing items together/ bringing a character to life. Dress (Goodwill) was cropped and spliced to give a little more edge. White fur vest came from goodwill. Chain belt from goodwill. Gladiator sandals from amazon because I couldn’t snag a used pair for sale anywhere in the off season. My hair braid is actually cut from a wig I found at goodwill and then incorporated my own hair and added feathers and fabric to emphasize the details and tie in the blue war paint. The white teeth that are attached to my belt are actually extracted from an actual wild boar skull that I acquired from a taxidermist friend. Bad-A right? And the necklaces are from my own collection and accumulation over the years...one of which I acquired from a trip to China when I was back in high school! Finally found a reason to wear it! Score. Basically, hot glue is a girl’s bff. I also used wiring to attach the boar tusks and secure them to my belt. Best piece of advice... go for it! Own it! It’s YOUR creation and working it (embody that character) totally is the icing on the cake to pull off your wardrobe! Have fun! Also your canine companion can totally enjoy the experience with you! Don’t forget to include your fur buddy.
