Bendy and the Ink Machine Costume

Bendy and the ink machine

Costume type:  Costumes for Girls
Categories:Halloween Costumes, Video Game Costumes

This homemade costume for girls entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Koda, the 'Bendy and the Ink Machine' costume creator:

My 4 year old wanted to be bendy and the ink machine this year so what I did was I bought a yard of black fleece fabric for the mask and a yard of white fleece fabric for the mask, the gloves, and bow tie. I bought a yard of black and white netting fabric for his eye hole and the mouth area. I drew patterns on paper to cut by and began to sew. For the eye holes and mouth I sewed the netting on then cut the fabric out from behind the netting fabric. For the shirt and pants I just used sweatpants and sweat shirt.

How do you make and keep the head round shaped? Did you find a glove pattern? Your costume is fantastic.

Thank you Jo! I cut all my patterns myself. The only thing I did was adding stuffing in the horns to keep the shape, I thought if I added a thin layer of foam to it thin the mask would have been to hot for my son considering the fabric I used was a pill fleece fabric.

This is awsome! Would you be willing, or have the time to make one to sell? My 9 year old is hell bent on 'being bendy' for Halloween. I usually make her costumes but I'm averaging 70 hours a week at work right now, so I know I don't have time for a project this large... I have yet seen one I can just purchase...

How can I buy this

Your comments are extremely sweet and I would love to make costumes for a living but unfortunately as of right now I would not have the time....
