A word from Robyn, the 'Tiffi from Candy Crush' costume creator:

How I you came up with this costume:
One of the most addictive games of the year, Candy Crush is everywhere. Almost anyone you talk to plays it or knows about it. I like making my own costumes and this year I had originally planned to go as Robin Hood. But I couldn't find some of the materials I wanted for the costumes. I was really bummed and stuck for what I wanted to be for Halloween. I was playing Candy Crush and passed a level; next came Tiffi congratulating me that I had passed. And that's when it hit me. I did some web surfing and found no one has made a costume for any character from the Candy Crush Saga. So I said so myself," I got this!" And VIOLA!
How I made this costume:
Starting from head to toe. I bought a plain short blonde wig and had to make my pig tails. I took a head band and made a bow out of cardboard and painted it red. I'm wearing bright blue eye shadow and bright pink blush to make the constant blush marks "Tiffi" has. I have a fuchsia long sleeve shirt with a pink dress over it. That I bought from the DI. I made two gold circles for the push pin effect of a paper doll (that Tiffi has) out of cardboard and paint. Then glued them onto a pin. I have the white collar and two white buttons I also made from cardboard and painted the glued to pins. I bought a petticoat so I could have the round fluff to the dress. My boots are fuchsia. I bought them at a yard sale. I split the seem in back and then put purple shoelace and laced them up the back. And then there's my sign. I took a piece of foam board and cut the L shape. I painted the sign to look like the congratulation screen of Candy Crush to show you passed a level.

Everyone loved my costume! People knew who I was and I was so happy they enjoyed it! I was called creative and was asked by strangers to take a picture with them because they either loved Candy Crush or knew someone who did. This has to be the best reaction to costume year for me.

I also had my nails painted red, blue, green, yellow, purple with stripes like the candy's in the game.
