This homemade costume for couples entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Scott, the 'The Undead Bride and Groom' costume creator:

I am wearing the groom costume(Scott)and my lovely bride(Craig)...yes, she's a "he" is in gown. I wore a tux and a vintage seal's skin top hat. My bride's gown was purchased at a thrift store for less than $20.00. The stake appears to go the whole way through our bodies by sawing them in half and screwing a small heavy plastic plate to each end but piersing the screw though the gown an my shirt. Paint was used as blood. We ripped the gown and soiled our garb with brown spray paint and use powder for that dusty look. Real dried flowers and spider webbing was used for that aged affect. Latex/rubber was glued to our faces for that raised scary look, along with oil based theatre makeup. I purchased yellow contacts online for that "undead" look. I carried an rusty latern with a battery operated candle glued inside of it. After we reached our Halloween destination we turned on about a dozen white optical thread lights that lined the inside of the gown and in the bide's wig for an spooky glow. We spent less then $100.00 on the costoms.
To say the least....we were a BIG hit!!!
