This homemade costume for families entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jennifer, the 'The Little Mermaid' costume creator:
Our 3 year old daughter, Priya, came up with the idea. She told Mom, Jennifer, who each family member should be. Mom followed through so, you have Dad, Clint, as King Triton, Mom, Jennifer, as Ursula, brother, Remy, as Sebastian and Priya as Ariel, The Little Mermaid, of course.
Everyone wants to know what Ursula's tentacles are made of so, I'll share. I took pool noodles cut in half and carved out pieces to make them more flexible. I shaped them with wire. It was quite a project but well worth it.
