The Circus Mutt Costume

The "lion", is our rescue, Milo. He is a 1.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Husky and Labrador Retriever mix.
Everything in the photo is handmade. (minus the lion costume!)
The train car took 3 days to make. It is made out of thick cardboard and is painted with spray paint. There is a usable door in the back, so he can enter and exit the train car. The bars are made of tubing which is painted gold.
The ring of fire took 2 days to make. It is made out of a hula hoop, in which we tied red, yellow and orange streamers onto. We then cut wood to create the stand, and attached them.
The stand took 1 day to make. It is an upside down bucket which was hand painted blue and yellow.
The idea came from my daughter. She always thought Milo looked like a lion, so she wanted him to be a lion for Halloween. Then she told me that she wanted to be part of his costume, so she became the lion tamer. I told her it should be a circus theme, so we created some props to go with it.
