Taco Belle Costume

I came across the idea for Taco Belle online a while ago and fell in love with the idea. As both a a huge Disney fan and a Taco Bell addict, I knew instantly this was the costume for me. I sewed together the dress from an old tablecloth I had in the house and some pretty yellow fabric I found at Value Village. I also found this amazing underskirt there for $10, it makes the dress puffy at the bottom like a real princess and I'm still excited about that find. The tacos I made from foam, with individual pieces like lettuce leaves and cheese all glued together. I used thick straws from Ikea I had lying around to structurally support the tacos. for the wrappers, I actually went in to Taco Bell and asked for some- that got some funny looks from the employees! Finally, the necklace was from the dollar store, and I printed the Taco Bell logo and glued it to some foam for sturdiness, and glued that to the he necklace. This was so much fun to make, and all my friends love it!
