A word from Hien, the 'Suicide Squad Rick Flag and Enchantress' costume creator:

I got the idea from watching Suicide Squad. I love making costumes so I wanted to be creative. For Rick Flag's costume, my boyfriend Alex used a military green button up shirt, a workout weight vest, and work out gloves and his head phones to create the military look of Rick Flag. All logos for the workout gear was covered up with black electrical tape and a Rick Flag name tag was created for the vest. For Enchantress I used a black bra and sewed on silver wired ribbon into the design of the bra. I used old accessories for the jewelry pieces dangling from the bra and for her necklace. The bottom piece of the costume was held together by 2 bracelets and 2-multi tiered necklaces. Underneath was a black loin cloth and on top was the necklaces and little squared "metallic"pieces that were sewn together for a tiered look. The "metallic" pieces were made from a cardboard Rice Krispy Treats box. I cut it into little squares, I used and colored the backside of the cardboard with black marker, and made tiny little hole punches so that they can be sewn together. The head piece was also made from the cardboard box except I used a pencil to color the backside. I used Bobby pins to keep them in place. I have natural long black hair so it was perfect for the costume. Underneath I wore a nude color unitard for modesty and it matched perfectly with my skin so it really looked like I was naked underneath. For my makeup I used black eye shadow and eyeliner. I also used black eyeliner to draw on her arm jewelry. I only spent $22 for my costume: nude unitard and silver wired ribbon, everything else I had at home. This is one of my most creative costumes and I really enjoyed making it.
