A word from Jessica, the 'StayPuft Marshmallow Man' costume creator:

My 4 year old son is wearing the costume. He is ADDICTED to Ghostbusters and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. He wanted to be the Marshmallow Man for Halloween, so then started my adventure. I could not find a child costume that I liked. I wasn't a fan of the sweatpants, so it was go big or go home. He is 100% crafted by me, nothing is store bought other than the material and stuffing. The body is actually two pieces. The arms are attached to an outfit similar to footie jammies, but with out the feet. I crafted this portion with a back zipper, and the arms are doubled, with the top layer being a bit bigger to allow for the puffs. The second portion of the body is a jumper/overalls, with elastic at the shoulder which allows to slip on and over the arms. For the arms and legs I sewed lines horizontally, then stuffed between the lines. The body is made of a light weight fleece, the neckerchief and ties are a light cotton blend. The stuffing is poly fiber. The neckerchief is tied together with a red ribbon in the back. He was fun to make, although the poofs were a bit frustrating to sew.
