A word from Alicia, the 'Starbucks Vanilla Latte' costume creator:

My daughter Emma, age 11 I wanted to make something homemade. The costume cost me less than $20. The materials I used for the dress were white and brown felt with white batting for the collar and headband. I went to Starbucks and asked for a lid and green straw (free) to finish off the headband. The logo I found online and I printed it onto white transfer paper. So easy! Quick, simple costume that will get you a ton of attention! Love it!

This is so stinkin cute I have showed it to my daughter who loves it. Can you tell me how you made the dress. Did you use a pattern.

Hi! Thanks for the nice comments. No pattern was used. Just took her measurements and cut out our own pattern. You could probably find a sheath dress pattern and use that. We tried to taper it down in the waist and knees to make it look more slim fitting, like a cup. I hope that helps!

Thanks everyone. I just came up with my own pattern and used her measurements to cut the dress to her size. For the logo if you google Starbucks logo you an find a lot of them on there. Just copy the image and print into iron transfer paper. Hope that helps!

Hola buenas tardes muy bonito traje, pero lo que más me sorprendió fue el gran parecido que su hija tiene con la mia.
