This homemade costume for pets entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Maggie, the 'Sopwith Pup' costume creator:

Maggie Beagle has always been partial to Snoopy's life style. This year she convinced her humans to let her dress up for Halloween as the World War I flying ace that battled the cursed Red Baron.

The costume and plane was patterned after a model of Snoopy's plane that I had when I was growing up.

I guess the project got a little out of hand? It is made out of a baby stroller that was discarded for trash pick-up, a few sheets of foam housing insulation, thin plywood, and a Styrofoam wreath base.

You can't help but indulge your only beagle.

An excellent example of aeronautical advancement from the earlier dog house. A great designer and builder was certainly involved ! One small step for a beagle, one great step for the canine race.
