Sailor on USS Yorktown Baby Costume

Sofie Beth Jackson, 13-months-old, is a sailor aboard the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier. The idea was inspired by our recent move to Charleston, SC. We wanted to do something that highlights the area, is creative, and used as least money as possible. We used leftover moving boxes, an old Christmas present that was never given (oops!) cable ties, duct tape and a tarp we had over some furniture stored in the garage. The only real costs here were the toy planes on the "flight deck" and her sailor hat, both which were purchased at the real USS Yorktown at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Total cost:
