A word from Amber, the 'Russell & Kevin from Up' costume creator:

The movie Up! is one of mine and my boyfriend Cody's favorites so it was a perfect idea for a costume. For the Russell costume I purchased a plain yellow shirt from Academy and orange foam for the flag and badges. I also used an old hat and green t-shirt from around the house. I cut 2 orange triangles from the foam and painted the circle with the wilderness explorer emblem on each side. I them got an old wire hanger and hot glued the two triangle pieces together for the flag and stuck that into the zipper of an old backpack. I painted the old hat yellow and cut another wilderness explorer emblem out of the foam and hot glued it to the hat. Last I cut a sash out of the old green t-shirt and cut circles out of the foam and painted them many colors and glued them to the sash. For the Kevin(snipe) costume I chose to make a colorful tutu. I purchase yellow, red, orange, purple, and blue tulle from hobby lobby and attached to a strip of elastic. I purchased a cheap navy tank top and glued yellow and blue feathers to it. I also used an old headband to hot glue 5 blue pipe cleaners to and them glued feathers to those. I wore some black leggings under the tutu and some sparkly flats. I wore blue feather earrings I already owned, and I bought a yellow boa at hobby lobby and cut it in half and tied each piece around my wrists for extra detail. Total cost for both costumes was about $40 because I already had a lot of the things I needed laying around the house.

What a beautiful couple you make! Enjoy your life, live in present and remember life only gets better with your spouse.
Learn to forgive. Life is beautiful at any age. My husband and I are 67 and me 60 and we love each other and life!
