This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Melisa, the 'Pirate Family' costume creator:
This was our family costume this year. Our son is 2 and our daughter is 5 months. We combined store bought costumes and DIY to create a complete look. We turned our wagon into a pirate ship and made a treasure chest for our baby to sit inside. We used empty diaper boxes and paint the topped it off with some plastic gold beads and jewels.
