Pinocchio Costume

This is our son Bobby, dressed as Pinnochio. We wanted to create a costume with meaning and someone everyone could relate to. We felt the character Pinnochio has so much symbolism for children and adults of all ages. I created his hat of felt, ribbon and a red feather. His shirt dungarees I used a pattern for and made them out of a red linen blend material and trimmed with yellow buttons and a Swiss style ribbon down the sides. His white collar and blue bow were both created from a heavy duty cotton. His vest was created from black cotton and trimmed with a gold cord. I accented the piece with red Toms, white gloves and a yellow shirt purchased from sears. All the supplies for making the costume came from JoAnn Fabrics.

We hope through Bobby's Pinnochio costume people are inspired to wish upon a star and let their conscience be their guide because fldreams do come true!
