Playable Pacman Arcade Game Costume

My kids decide on the theme for Halloween each year. This year, they chose pacman. I had to match them and wanted an awesome costume. So I thought whats better than the arcade game? A playable arcade game!

The majority of the costume is made from cardboard and hot glue. The screen is a plastic shopping bag. To make it work, I used a mini battery powered projector aimed at a mirror in order to enlarge the image in a tight space and flip the image so it is seen the correct way from the outside of the screen along with a plug and play pacman game. The reactions you get while wearing this thing are incredible! My kids were super proud and were told how lucky they were to have such a cool mom. I was stopped for photos lots and played by tons of people, kids and adults! Be prepared though, it is really hard to leave when you keep getting stopped on the way to the car!
