Oompa Loompa Costume

This is Oliver, my 17 month old son. I wanted to make a costume that didn't involve putting anything on his head (because he hates to wear hats or hoods). I saw this costume online and thought I could make a better and cheaper version. This entire costume cost me less than $25. I used girls leggings for the pants and also the straps. A brown turtleneck with brown socks. The white stripes were made with medical tape. I dyed a pair of cheap shoes brown and sewed pom poms on top of them. His hair was sprayed slightly green and I drew white eyebrows with an eyeliner. This costume has gotten a lot of compliments and it suits Oliver's bubbly personality!
