This homemade costume for kids entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Noel, the 'Trick 'r Treat Sam' costume creator:
This costume is being worn by my 13 year old daughter. The head is made from paper mache and burlap material hot glued to the paper mache. In order to create the perfect round shape I used a inflatable beach ball. Inside the mask I used 3 large car wash sponges to make it snug and comfortable. Twine and rope make the stitching on the mask along with 2 large buttons. The gloves are winter gloves wrapped with burlap and twine. The lollipop is made from foam and a wood dowel as a handle. Had to learn how to sew to make her orange felt footsies. Splattered Hollywood style blood all around the costume and mask. Finished the costume off with a burlap sack that I soaked the bottom with fake blood.
