This homemade costume for girls entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
My daughter Anastasia LOVES The Nightmare Before Christmas and wanted to be Sally. You can buy baby, toddler and Adult Sally costumes but no little girl ones. We took a sundress she was about to grow out of and added patches to it. Then I added "scars" by taking a white shirt and white tights and sewed black yarn into it. Striped socks and Mary Janes finished out the costume. The wig is made by latch hooking red yarn into a foot of queen sized fishnet tights. We used eyelash glue to put the black yarn on her face.
