This homemade costume for couples entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Miguel, the 'Mad Hatter & Alice in Wonderland' costume creator:
I am wearing a hat from Disneyland that hair is connected to. I went and bought fabric from Joann to create the tie/scarf. The kilt and coat are 2 different store bought costumes since my aunt didn't make the coat. The shirt is just a regular white shirt with the purple vest and green coat added on top. The kilt comes from a scottish costume and I bought stockings that were "clown striped" and string ribbon that I curled and stuffed in my pockets. The makeup I bought a white foundation and regular colored eye shadow and blush. I also bought colored nail polish to paint on me.
Margo Deal is Alice, the wig we found in No. Hollywood to add to the dress and she added her own black shoes and white stockings. She had a Chesire Cat from years ago she carried.
