This homemade costume for boys entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
My grandson is wearing it and I came up with the idea from Huckleberry Finn. I used a pair of his small overall's and hand sewed patches in different spots. Cut the brim off a straw hat to make it look ruff and safty pinned a bobber on it and used a ace bandage to make it fit his head. Found a old rusty pail and drilled holes and added a rope handle for his candy. Used a stick with some string bobber and plastic worm for his fishing pole. What I didn't have on hand was all bought at thift stores.
